If It Is To Be Then It's Up To Me

March 10th & 11th 2010
What a great way to spend a couple of days with 10 positively motivated colleagues who absorbed the QED experience to turn their consultations into something really special. As a small intimate group, there was plenty of time for practice and reflection to establish exactly how the tools and techniques could be used by each participant: Mark, Alan, Louise, Jo, Marianne, Graham, David, Ian and Victoria. While the proof will always be in those people who sold on Friday and into the weeks ahead, the strength of commitment to implement these actions was fantastic. While some colleagues updated their internal programmes everyone had a contribution to make.
The top themes from this workshop were:
1. The use of Yes Tags, Truisms and exquisite questioning to dig deep into emotions
2. Using embedded commands to literally tell the client what to do and think, nicely naturally!
3. To plan and use the consulting room better, reduce personal stress and use stories.
4. Mirror and lead body language.
5. Arrange posters for prime position so the client seen binaural when looking at the dispenser
6. Be aware of modalities to gain emotional connectedness with more people
7. Use positive emotive words to motivate clients and use Tag words more deliberate
8. Really exploit conversational questioning getting below the layers with power and emotive words
9. Make changes to existing questionnaire to incorporate the predicates and emotive words from the workshop
10. Use ambiguity and embedded commands and look at every aspect of the consultation to revitalise it.
11. Refine matching to use more subtle aspects
12. Set and use Anchors - Make people happy - Happy Branch = Happy Clients
13. Match modality and language
14. Relax client and support so that 'Brain Juice' is more condusive to being helped.
